Cygnet Woking Lodge was undergoing a full refurb of their George Willard Ward, and they required breakaway ensuite doors manufactured and installed within 3 weeks. With sizes and images agreed, this order was turned around and installed on time, ensuring the ward could be commissioned for opening. This ward is a Adult Male Acute mental health ward, and having done tests with keys and other objects, Cygnet were satisfied the product was robust and fit for use in this demanding environment. Being Crib 7 fire retardant the Softdoor reduces ligature risk, whilst meeting the relevant fire regulations for these Behavioural Health units. Asking for feedback from the manager following commissioning, he said: Everyone I have spoken to is happy with the product, I haven’t received any feedback, which in my role is the best I get, as usually I just hear negative feedback when a product fails.
