The Balco SOFTDISPENSER™ – the first of its kind in the market was borne from discussions with NHS mental health professionals around one of their biggest risks – fixed dispensers.
There are very few dispensers available on the market that is reduced ligature, where the breakaway part doesn’t increase the weapons risk. The Balco SOFTDISPENSER™ will remove the risk associated with using fixed dispensers, and the risk of hard breakaway dispensers being weaponised.

What’s the lead time?
Standard lead time is 2-3 days subject to stock levels. This is confirmed at time of order. Bespoke colours have a lead time of approximately 4 weeks depending on quantity.
How do you clean the SOFTDISPENSER™??
The SOFTDISPENSER™ is produced with an antimicrobial properties within the material making it easy to clean using most cleaning fluids.
What is the product warranty?
We provide a warranty on our products for a period of 24 months from delivery, the products shall be free from material defects in design, material & workmanship. However, this warranty does not apply to any defect in the product arising from circumstances described in clause 10.2 of the Balco Terms & Conditions.
How does the dispenser attach to the plate?
The SOFTDISPENSER™ has an over-moulded metal counterpart that is secured in the back of the dispenser. The counterpart then attaches to the wall plate via magnets which are concealed on the back of the plate and is securely fixed to the wall.
How does the SOFTDISPENSER™ plate attach to the wall?
The plates themselves are very easy to attach to the walls. The magnets are already fitted to the plates and full fitting instructions will be provided. If you do not wish to fit these yourself, installation services can be provided by one of our distributors if you would prefer this option.
What happens if the dispenser gets lost?
If a dispenser gets lost, these can be replaced easily, let us know the colour and the units required and we can quote this for you.
Do you just have the toilet tissue dispenser? Do you also sell a Soft hand towel or Soft soap dispenser?
These are currently in development to create a whole soft dispenser set. Please register your interest with us and we can let you know when the products are ready.
